Primex3Health has partnered with Harvard Pilgrim Health Care of New England to provide a non-profit alternative for employee health benefits coverage and retiree Medicare supplemental coverage to New Hampshire town, city, county and school groups who qualify for membership in Primex3. Primex3 and Harvard Pilgrim share a non-profit mission and a dedication to quality service to members. Primex3Health is the only non-profit health insurance alternative for local governments and schools in New Hampshire. Harvard Pilgrim Health Care of New England, Inc. is a longtime, leading non-profit health care organization in New England. Harvard Pilgrim Health Care has approximately 1,400 employees, and provides care and coverage to more than 970,000 members throughout Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine. Harvard Pilgrim currently insures over 80 municipal entities representing 162,000 members in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Their experience with both union and non-union groups is exceptional.

Primex3Health offers a full spectrum of products, including health maintenance organization (HMO), point-of-service (POS), and preferred provider (PPO) plans, and Medicare enhancement plans on a fully insured basis. All products are carefully designed and reviewed regularly so that Primex3Health will continue to meet the growing needs of health care consumers. The schedule of benefits exhibits the variety of options available to Primex3Health members. Primex3 will work with each member to select the option or combination of options that will work best for each member. Please note that all Primex3 prescription drug options include $0 copays for Tier One, which is primarily made up of generic drugs.

Other Services
  • Primex3Health will coordinate with Primex3's Workers' Compensation Program to eliminate inconvenience for the employee. Primex3Health will also work with other providers of workers' compensation to ensure minimum inconvenience for employees. Our objective is seamless health care for occupational and non-occupational care.
  • Primex3Health provides full COBRA services.
  • Primex3Health can arrange for the administration of Flexible Spending Accounts and Health Reimbursement Accounts.
  • Primex3Health is able to work directly with the New Hampshire Retirement System to accept subsidy payment for eligible retirees. We are familiar with the provisions of RSA 100-A:52a Payment by Retirement System; Group I Teachers and Political Subdivision Employees, and we have prior experience administering these provisions.
